We have had a fun Spring Break, but we are ready for it to be over since we have been split up. On Wednesday we went to Austin and saw the capitol (very beautiful) and then took Mikey and Aaron to the airport. They flew down to Riverside, CA to go visit Nana (Kay) and Papa (Ben). They have had a lot of fun visiting with them and also seeing Aunt Katie and Uncle Wesley. They have spent a lot of time at the house playing games and visiting with Nana and Papa and have been able to see Katie and Wesley a few times. They also went out to see "Horton Hears A Who" and really enjoyed it. I guess Aaron was having a lot of fun and they actually had to quiet him a couple times because he got so into it!

In the meantime, Nathan and I went to Nacogdoches, Texas to visit my good friend Rhonda and her family. She served in the Young Women's Presidency with me in Stockton before she moved to Nacogdoches last January and her girls were in Young Women's while I was serving so I know them well also. For everyone who has not been there (which is probably most of you) it is gorgeous. It has tons of trees including pine trees and is very hilly. It kind of reminded me of Placerville and the forest parts of El Dorado County. There were no mountains of course, but it was very beautiful. We had a lot of fun exploring the town and spending time with them. One of my favorite things we did was to visit Chris and his wife Melissa at the little shop they work at. Chris is the designer for the stained glass windows that they make and he showed me around and told me all about the whole process. It was fascinating! They also have a lot of really cool handmade stuff that they sell in the store. We also had a girl's morning where we watched a chick flick and Rhonda helped me make the BYU fleece that I had into a blanket. We stayed there from Thursday until Saturday. Now we are home and excited to see Daddy and Aaron tomorrow!
